The Pieniny National Park occupies the most valuable areas of Pieniny Proper in terms of landscape and nature: the Three Korona Massif, the Czorsztyn Pieniny, Pieninki, the Dunajec Przedrój. Of the Spiš Pieniny Mountains, only Zielone Skalki were included in the park area. It has the highest tourist intensity rate per 1 ha of area among all Polish national parks. 35 km of trails are available for tourists. They also include the European attraction of rafting along the Dunajec watershed (its route can also be crossed on foot on the Pieniny Road). For tourists there are viewing galleries on the Three Crowns and Sokolica. The Castle in Czorsztyn is also a tourist attraction. 53% of the park's area is owned by the State Treasury (more than half purchased at the time of the Second Polish Republic), the rest is private areas where business activity is carried out.
